Ludus Fencing
Designed pro bono for an old coach for Ludus Fencing Studio in Rochester, NY. He simply wanted his own design vectorized. Now, he's been able to put it on glasses, awards, shirts, and more!

Odi et Amo by Catullus
A poetic translation project from my Poetry for Artists course based on the poem known as Catullus 85:

I hate and I love. Why I do this, perhaps you ask.
I know not, but I feel it happening and I am tortured.
​
The visual translation has all the letters from the original Latin version of the poem rearranged to form the face of Catullus. Above is a version with no border and below with one, with its arrows drooping down in sad angst.

Unused logos for a graduate seminar class. Designed when we were discussing an AR show of our work for critique.

Visual Poetry - Muskegon
Created for a Poetry for Artists course. The poem is the words, "There is a calling to this place that's getting harder to ignore (right)."
The words are pushing through the page and done in the color blue, for a camp I once worked at. Drafts below:

Illustrated Poetry - The Past / Future
An intermediary project for a suddenly-online Letterpress course. The idea was to take inspiration from the World's Fair posters and design your own.

This is a fictitious 1962 Segway ad for the World's Fair in Seattle.

MEGL Research Poster - winning design!
Created for the a team in Mason's Experimental Geometry Lab for the presentation of their research from the semester. This won best poster design. (I do not own this research.)

Ring Ring - student film posters
Instagram ad (right) and posters with and without credits (below) created for GMU Film alum Kenga B for her short film. The film is about a scammer who becomes the scammed by a keen old Black lady.
